Bi-Weekly Maintenance

Bi-weekly is for pool owners who keep a pretty clean pool themselves but want a professional eye on chemistry, equipment, and trend lines twice a month. It's not a discount weekly — it's a different program, designed around a homeowner who's hands-on but smart enough to know they don't want to be the one diagnosing a heater fault or a high CYA problem. You stay in control. I keep your pool dialed in.

What's Included

  • Full chemistry test every visit, with stabilizer and salt where applicable
  • Chemistry balanced and adjusted on-site
  • Surface skim, waterline brush, wall/step brush
  • Vacuum as needed (and brushing tips for the off-week)
  • Skimmer + pump basket emptied, filter rinse if needed
  • Equipment health check (pump, heater, filter, automation, salt cell)
  • Off-week recommendations — exactly what to do between visits
  • Written report after every visit with photos + chemistry numbers

The Hidden Pains Pool Owners Face

If any of these describe your situation, you’re not alone — and you\'re not stuck.

DIY chemistry that drifts in summer

You can hold pH and chlorine in spring and fall — but Sacramento's 100°+ summer afternoons crush stabilizer and burn through chlorine in ways test strips don't show. By August your pool is one bad weekend from cloudy.

You want help, but not someone showing up every week

You like doing your own pool work — it's relaxing. You don't want a tech in your yard 52 weeks a year. But you also don't want to be the one diagnosing a high-pressure filter or a salt cell that's failing.

Equipment problems you can't quite see

A pump bearing whining, a heater that's short-cycling, a salt cell at 40% efficiency — these are problems you might not catch until the pool is already cloudy or the bill from the pool store has tripled.

Vacation gaps

Two weeks of family vacation in July and your pool is unrecognizable when you get back. Bi-weekly service bridges the gap without you having to choose between a clean pool and a real summer.

Our Process

How we deliver exceptional results, every time.

1

Walkthrough + capability check

I'll see what you're already doing well and where bi-weekly really makes sense for your pool. If weekly is the better fit, I'll tell you up front.

2

Custom off-week instructions

I'll leave you a personalized cheat sheet — exact chemistry adjustments, exactly when to brush, what to do after a heatwave or storm.

3

Two visits per month, same days

Predictable schedule. You'll know exactly when I'll be there.

4

Reports + chemistry trend data

Over time you'll see your CYA, alkalinity, and calcium trends — and we'll adjust the program based on what your pool is actually doing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is bi-weekly really enough?

For about 60% of Sacramento pools, yes — if the homeowner is willing to do basic skimming and a brush on the off-week. If your pool gets heavy bather load, has a lot of trees, or the equipment is older, weekly is usually a better fit.

Can I switch to weekly later?

Yes — anytime. Some clients run bi-weekly in spring/fall and weekly during summer. Easy upgrade or downgrade with no penalty.

What do I do between visits?

I leave you a custom cheat sheet. For most pools it's: skim 2–3 times, brush once, check chlorine. That's it. The hard chemistry calls — I handle.

What if something breaks between visits?

Text me. Most fixes I can walk you through over the phone. If it's something that needs a service call, I'll come out — same-day for urgent stuff, next day otherwise.

Is there a contract?

No. No contracts on any service. Cancel anytime.
