Weekly Pool Maintenance

Most Sacramento pool owners don't get "green pool" surprises because of one bad week — they get them because their chemistry has been quietly drifting for months. Weekly service is how you stop that drift before it costs you an emergency algae recovery, a burned-out pump, or a weekend you spent vacuuming instead of swimming. Every visit, I test, balance, clean, and inspect — then leave you a written report so you actually know what's happening with your pool.

What's Included

  • Full chemistry test every visit (FC, CC, pH, TA, CH, CYA, salt if applicable)
  • Chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and stabilizer balancing — no guesswork
  • Surface skimming and full waterline brushing
  • Walls, steps, and tile line brushed every visit
  • Vacuum the floor as needed (pressure, robot, or manual)
  • Empty skimmer baskets, pump basket, and clean cell
  • Backwash sand/DE filter or hose cartridges as needed
  • Equipment inspection — pump, filter, heater, automation, valves
  • Written service report with chemistry numbers + photos every visit

The Hidden Pains Pool Owners Face

If any of these describe your situation, you’re not alone — and you\'re not stuck.

Pool turns green between visits

When chlorine drops below 1 ppm in Sacramento summer heat, algae blooms in 48 hours. By Monday you're staring at an emergency chemistry bill, a stained plaster, and a week without swimming.

Equipment failures you didn't see coming

Pumps don't usually fail randomly — they fail because of a clogged basket, a chronic air leak, or chemistry that ate the seals. Without weekly eyes on it, a small fix becomes a full motor replacement.

Spending Saturday morning on pool work

Three to five hours every week — testing, balancing, vacuuming, brushing, hauling chemicals home from the pool store. That's 150+ hours a year. With kids, work, and a life, that's the wrong tradeoff.

No idea if your pool is actually safe to swim in

Test strips fade. Pool-store readings are often wrong. Chloramines, low CYA, high CYA, and unbalanced pH cause skin/eye irritation that gets blamed on "too much chlorine" — when the real problem is the opposite.

Chain services that send a different person every week

When a stranger touches your equipment for 12 minutes and leaves no record, problems compound. Nobody is watching the trend. You catch issues only when something is already broken.

Our Process

How we deliver exceptional results, every time.

1

On-site walkthrough

Free 30-minute visit. I look at your pool, your equipment pad, your chemistry, and the surrounding environment (trees, dust, sun, deck).

2

Custom service plan

I write you a service plan based on YOUR pool — bather load, equipment age, environment. Not a one-size-fits-all rate sheet.

3

Same day every week

I show up the same day each week. You'll know when to expect me. If a holiday or storm shifts it, I'll text you in advance.

4

Service report after every visit

Photos, chemistry numbers, what I did, anything I'm watching, and your action items if any. Texted to you the same day.

5

Quarterly equipment check

Once a quarter I do a deeper inspection — pump bearings, heater stack, filter media, automation. We catch the slow stuff before it's a failure.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be home for service?

No. As long as I have gate access (code, lockbox, or unlocked side gate), I can service the pool while you're at work. You'll get a service report the same day.

What if you find a problem during a visit?

I text you immediately with photos, what I think it is, and what it would cost to fix. Nothing gets done without your approval — I never hand you a surprise invoice.

What happens if I travel for a few weeks?

Service continues as scheduled. I add water if it drops, run extra time on the pump if needed, and send you a daily check-in. You come home to a swim-ready pool.

How is this different from a national chain pool service?

You work directly with me — the owner. Same person every week. I know your pool, your equipment, and your family. No rotating techs, no upsell scripts, no hidden "chemical fee" line items.

What if there's a heatwave, storm, or wildfire smoke?

I extend the visit, run extra filter time, and add stabilizer/sanitizer as needed at no extra charge — that's part of the program. Sacramento's climate is hard on pools and your service should already account for it.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. No contracts. If you ever feel like you're not getting your money's worth, just tell me and we'll part as friends.
